About the Company

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented MIS & Reporting Executive to manage data collection, reporting, and performance tracking across the organization. The role will support management decision-making by ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful reports related to financial, operational, and business metrics.

About the Role

This position is ideal for candidates who are strong in data handling, Excel-based reporting, dashboard creation, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering financial, operational, and business performance metrics.
  • Consolidate data from multiple departments to ensure accurate and consistent reporting.
  • Maintain and update dashboards, trackers, and management reports.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of reports.

Data Management & Process Improvement

  • Design, maintain, and improve MIS formats, templates, and reporting processes.
  • Setup systems to monitor business for key metrics.
  • Automate reports where possible to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Maintain historical data for trend analysis and reference.
  • Develop and maintain management reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track financial and operational performance.

Financial & Business Support

  • Support finance and FP&A teams with budget tracking, variance analysis, and expense monitoring.
  • Assist in preparation of management presentations and performance summaries.
  • Track key KPIs and highlight deviations, trends, and exceptions.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with finance, operations, sales, and other teams to gather data inputs.
  • Act as a point of contact within the CFO's team for MIS-related queries and clarifications.

Qualifications

  • CA or MBA (finance qualification)

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in MIS, reporting, or data support roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, charts).
  • Experience preparing structured reports and dashboards – must have experience of having set-up some reporting systems in prior organizations.
  • Basic understanding of finance, accounting, or business metrics preferred.
  • Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is an added advantage.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Powerpoint.
