About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven Financial Analyst / Asset Management Analyst to support the financial and operational performance of a real estate portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy, working closely with property management teams, regional leadership, acquisitions, and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Daily & Weekly

Review and track capital expenditure requests

Participate in weekly PM calls and maintain agendas

Monitor operational KPIs

Track action items and identify risks

Prepare weekly performance summaries

Monthly

Review monthly financial statements

Update dashboards and scorecards

Analyze revenue, expense, and NOI variances

Review renovation and capex pacing

Identify efficiency improvements

Quarterly

Conduct site visits and prepare reports

Update rent comps and recommendations

Draft quarterly investor reports

Prepare lender draw submissions

Assist with asset valuation updates

Annual

Support budgeting cycle

Compare performance vs proforma

Contribute to annual investor reports

Support insurance and loan reviews

Acquisitions & Takeover Support

Validate underwriting assumptions

Conduct contract and utility audits

Perform technology audits

Maintain takeover documentation

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or Real Estate

13+ years of relevant experience

Strong financial analysis skills

Advanced Excel / Google Sheets proficiency

Excellent communication skills

Experience with property management systems preferred
