As a Financial Analysis Senior Associate within Compensation & Benefits Finance in Corporate Finance, you will spend each day delivering firmwide analysis, guidance, and reporting that supports decision-making and strong financial outcomes. You will own firmwide equity compensation expense and associated capital impacts, producing high-visibility deliverables used by finance leadership and teams across the Lines of Business. You will partner with Human Resources, Executive Compensation, HR Controllers, and firmwide finance teams to navigate complex models and ambiguous data while meeting financial, strategic, and control objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare for and execute month end analysis and forecasting processes to ensure accurate deliverables
- Support preparation of firmwide expense guidance and variance explanations
- Execute stress testing exercises and associated capital deliverables for CCAR and Risk Appetite
- Produce presentations, analysis and supporting materials for senior management that summarize period over period and round over round financial drivers
- Enhance controls and improve operational resiliency, including producing, organizing and maintaining documentation
- Perform various projects and ad-hoc analyses for cross-functional stakeholders
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- 5 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or Accounting/Controlling
- Strong Excel skills required with financial reporting application experience (Essbase, Databricks, SAP)
- Experience with analytical reviews and problem solving, attention to detail, and ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
- Inquisitive, eager to learn, and comfortable challenging the status quo
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
- Track record of leading or supporting initiatives with challenging timelines
- Highly motivated and able to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Team player with the ability to develop relationships as a trusted business partner
- Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with Master's degree and/or CPA preferred
- Financial reporting or automation applications (Alteryx, SQL, Python, Sigma, Genie)
- Experience with process improvement initiatives and/or project management
