Position Summary
We are looking for a Financial Advisory Manager to join our CFO team. This role focuses on data analytics, business intelligence, and M&A advisory, providing strategic insights that drive decision-making across the company. The candidate will build and maintain management dashboards, lead multi-dimensional business analysis, and support M&A origination and execution. While the role includes oversight of core financial operations, the primary emphasis is on analytics-driven advisory and strategic finance.
Past experience with a HKEX listed company and/or M&A transactions is a MUST. Experience in SaaS or RegTech industries is highly desirable. Exposure to US GAAP will be considered a strong plus.
Job Description
Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Own and maintain CRM and finance dashboards, ensuring timely daily updates of business data.
- Build and manage sales KPI dashboards to support performance monitoring and analysis.
- Conduct new business analysis, including new client tracking and multi-dimensional reporting by monthly performance, TCV, industry, product, and region.
- Lead renewal analytics, including renewal tracking, status monitoring, contract term analysis, and churn analysis.
- Perform cash collection analysis, including YoY and MoM comparisons, as well as Plan vs. Actual performance reporting.
- Manage customer analytics, including customer database maintenance, YoY analysis, customer concentration reporting, ARR trend analysis, and industry-by-scale segmentation analysis.
- Conduct cost analyses across vendor contracts and operational expenditures.
- Prepare business budgets and perform Plan vs. Actual variance analyses.
M&A Analysis & Advisory
- Identify, screen, and evaluate potential M&A targets in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, and investment memoranda to support M&A decision-making.
- Coordinate due diligence processes and liaise with external legal, financial, and tax advisors.
- Support post-acquisition integration initiatives from a financial perspective.
- Monitor the M&A pipeline and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
Management Reporting & Strategic Finance
- Prepare management reports, variance analyses, budgets, and financial forecasts to support business decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze key SaaS metrics, including ARR, MRR, churn, and deferred revenue, and provide actionable insights to drive business performance.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and oversee liquidity management across multiple entities.
- Support pricing strategies and commercial contract structuring through financial modelling and profitability analysis.
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with Operations, Product, Sales, and Accounting teams to align financial insights with business strategy.
- Provide data-driven recommendations on customer contracts, pricing strategies, and market opportunities.
- Oversee company finances and reporting to ensure accuracy and reasonableness.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, FP&A, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or business analytics, preferably within SaaS, RegTech, FinTech, or other technology-driven businesses.
- Proven ability to build dashboards, financial models, and multi-dimensional business analyses.
- Strong understanding of HKFRS, SFRS, and IFRS, with hands-on experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. Experience with Singapore statutory reporting is an advantage.
- Proven M&A transaction experience, including deal sourcing, financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, transaction execution, and post-deal performance analysis.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred / Plus
- Exposure to US GAAP reporting, group consolidation, or reporting within a multinational or US-parent organization.
- Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
- Prior Big 4 audit, transaction advisory, or corporate finance background.
