Financial Accountant

Position Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven individual who can independently manage end-to-end accounting functions, financial reporting, and statutory compliances. The role requires sound technical knowledge, hands-on experience with ERP systems, and strong analytical capabilities for financial decision support.

Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of financial statements (Standalone & Consolidated) in compliance with Ind AS.
• Manage general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST and TDS regulations.
• Prepare insightful MIS reports and dashboards for senior management.
• Support in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Update financial records using accounting software including Zoho Books and QuickBooks.
• Drive improvements in internal controls and accounting processes.
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants for statutory and internal audits.
• Oversee statutory compliances including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and ROC filings, ensuring adherence to applicable laws.

Personal Attributes and Experience

• 1-4 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles. Preferable in Manufacturing field.
• Strong foundation in Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), GST, and TDS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and dashboard creation.
• Experience in working with ERP platforms like SAP, Tally, or Zoho Books.
• Ability to manage timelines, multitask, and communicate effectively across teams.

Qualifications:

• Accounting graduation is a must. PG is desirable though not essential.
• Semi-qualified CMA or CA candidates will have an added advantage.
• Experience in any of the above roles / activities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in various accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong commitment and willingness to work in a start-up mode.
