Finance Trainee

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Intern to join our Finance team. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to various accounting and finance functions while supporting day-to-day activities and month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable (AR): Support in invoicing, collections, ageing analysis and customer reconciliations.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Assist with invoice processing, payment coordination and vendor reconciliations.
• Month-end Closing: Support in journal entries, provisions, accruals, schedules and account reconciliations.
• General Accounting: Assist with GL accounting, bank reconciliations and inter-company transactions.
• Banking & Treasury: Support day-to-day banking operations, payment processing, documentation and cash monitoring.
• Internal Audit & Controls: Assist in control testing, process reviews and tracking closure of audit observations.
• Statutory Compliance: Support the team with GST, TDS and other finance-related compliance activities.
• ERP & Excel: Use ERP systems and MS Excel for accounting, reporting, reconciliations and other finance-related activities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation and support the team with ad-hoc finance-related activities as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) / Semi-qualified professional.

• 1–4 years of experience in Internal Audit / Risk Advisory / IFC.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.

• Knowledge of ERP systems.

• Good drafting and communication skills
