Finance Team Lead

Job Summary:

Horizontal Integration India Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Team Lead Finance & Accounts with 8+ years of experience in managing accounts payable, end-to-end accounting, compliances, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accuracy in financial operations, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely closing of books.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable (AP):

Oversee end-to-end AP processes including bill processing, accounting, and payment applications

Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments

• End-to-End Accounting:

Manage daily accounting functions including general ledger, journal entries, and transaction recording

Handle month-end and year-end financial closing

• Statutory Compliance:

Prepare monthly TDS and GST workings

Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and tax laws

• Cost Allocation:

Manage and monitor cost allocation across multiple entities

Ensure accurate inter-company accounting and reporting

• Reporting and Reconciliation:

Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Profit & Loss Statements on monthly basis

Support management in financial planning and analysis

Conduct periodic variance analysis and reporting

• Tools and Technical Proficiency:

Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, etc.)

Hands-on experience with Zoho Books or Zoho Finance Suite

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in core accounting and finance roles
• Strong knowledge of Indian taxation and accounting standards
• Individual contributor
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
