Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Finance professional with 23 years of startup experience, who has exposure to fund raising support, investor documentation, and statutory compliances. The role demands practical knowledge rather than only theoretical understanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in fund raising activities and preparation of related documents:
  • Investor agreements, SHA, SSA, term sheets, cap tables
  • Documentation related to domestic & foreign investments
  • Supporting FEMA, FDI, RBI filings and compliance requirements
  • Coordinating with investors, legal advisors, CS, and consultants
  • Handling PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, GST and other statutory compliances
  • Assisting in payroll processing and compliance reporting
  • Preparation of MIS reports, budgets, and basic financial analysis
  • Liaising with auditors, bankers, and regulatory authorities

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • 23 years of relevant finance experience in a startup
  • Exposure to investment / fund-raising documentation
  • Working knowledge of FEMA & foreign investment regulations
  • Hands-on experience in PF, ESIC & payroll compliances
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • CA Inter / MBA Finance / M.Com
  • Experience in VC/PE-backed startups is a plus
