KKR's Finance team oversees the firm's credit, accounting and reporting matters to produce analytical insights that drive business decisions and long-term success. The team is responsible for designing efficient frameworks through internal and external data and reports to understand the market environment and business dynamics and implement best practices. The team also collaborates closely with KKR's Legal and Compliance team to ensure compliance and accurate reporting and performance of our corporate tax entities related to our investment funds. The Finance team also functions as a support for clients, from onboarding to investor communications and overall relationship management across all asset class, as well as responding to any ad-hoc tax-related requests.

Team Overview

Finance supports the strategic direction of the Firm by ensuring efficient and effective financial planning, analysis, budgeting, reporting, compliance, accounting, and stewardship of financial risks and controls. By doing so, we produce accurate financial information for decision making, ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies, and provide leadership for operational improvements, cost savings and strategic investments that align with the Firm's culture and long-term goals.

Position Summary

Serve as a senior member of the Asia Management Company Finance team, providing leadership, oversight, and review of financial reporting and operational processes for the Asia Management Companies, covering Asia Private Markets, Public Markets, KKR Capstone, and KKR Capital Markets entities. The role is responsible for managing and overseeing the Gurugrambased Management Company Finance team, ensuring timely, accurate, and highquality financial deliverables, strong controls, and effective collaboration with regional and global stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide overall oversight of the financial reporting and close process for the Asia Management Companies, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant monthly and quarterly financial results under US GAAP.
  • Work closely with local, regional, and global finance teams to review journal entries, general ledger activity (SAP), reconciliations, GAAP packs, and analytical reviews of financial performance.
  • Perform reviews of cost center bookings and financial schedules, ensuring issues are identified early and addressed appropriately.
  • Lead and manage the Gurugram-based finance team, providing guidance, setting priorities, and ensuring workload is allocated effectively to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
  • Identify strengths and development opportunities within the team, supporting capability building while maintaining strong day-to-day execution.
  • Act as a key liaison with the APAC Management Co Finance team and broader internal stakeholders, proactively partnering to resolve queries and support business needs.
  • Oversee tax, audit, and regulatory deliverables, including review of financial data provided to tax agents, coordination of external audits, and review of audit packs and supporting schedules.
  • Ensure timely completion of regulatory filings, government surveys, and maintenance of key agreements, contracts, and documentation required for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Oversee preparation and review of cash flow forecasts and quarterly P&L forecasts, providing insight, challenge, and visibility to management as appropriate.
  • Support and lead ad-hoc projects and firm-wide initiatives, including process improvements and transition of work from other Asia Management Company finance teams to Gurugram.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships within Finance and across the firm to enhance collaboration and deliver value-added solutions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of management company functions and ensure books and records are maintained to a high standard of accuracy, control, and audit readiness.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant with approximately 1012 years of postqualification experience, including Big 4 public accounting and relevant commercial experience.
  • Strong technical accounting foundation with a solid understanding of management company finance and endtoend finance processes.
  • Experience working in a multinational organization; financial services industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership capability with experience managing teams, leading projects, and driving collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong judgment, decisionmaking, and criticalthinking skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and complex situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work under tight deadlines, and maintain a high standard of accuracy and accountability.
  • Technologysavvy with handson experience using SAP (S/4HANA, SAC) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience leading or supporting process improvement, automation, or efficiency initiatives within Finance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • High standards of integrity, professionalism, and teamwork, with a collaborative working style aligned to the Firm's values.
