Role Objective:

We are building a lean, high-performing Finance team for 2026 in a SaaS environment. The role requires a passionate, initiative-driven, fast-moving finance professional who takes ownership of collections, revenue operations, compliance, forecasting and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain Client Master Data on a daily basis.

Maintain and monitor MRR on a daily basis and process MRR reversal for booked/churned accounts.

Prepare projected cash flow based on expected inflows and outflows.

Calculate Net Revenue Retention (NRR) on a monthly basis.

Maintain up-to-date Accounts Receivable (AR) dashboard and ageing.

Complete VRF forms with supporting documents.

Obtain approvals on Purchase Orders (POs) and coordinate required changes.

Raise invoices as per PO terms and contractual agreements.

Drive payment follow-ups and ensure timely payment realization.

Secure approvals for churned accounts and raise credit notes.

Prepare GSTR-1 workings and obtain approvals before filing.

Ensure clearance and compliance for overseas revenue.

Categorize inward banking transactions on a daily basis.

Coordinate with Legal for renewals, addendums, SLAs, and POs.

Share regular updates on pending renewals with the Customer Success team.

Escalate payment blockers to CS and Sales teams.

Control and monitor Unbilled and Deferred Revenue.

Calculate monthly sales incentives.

Reconcile TDS receivables with Form 26AS.

Support forecasting and preparation of financial projections.

Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.

Manual Effort Reduction: Automate at least 1-2 finance processes every quarter.

Dependency Reduction: Finance operations should run with minimal follow-ups from Clients.

Single Source of Truth: Ensure seamless reconciliation between CRM, Billing systems, and Books with zero data gaps.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books.

Hands-on experience with CRM and other Finance tools.

Expertise in GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and statutory compliance.

Strong understanding of SaaS revenue recognition, AR, and cash flow management.

Experience working with automation tools and process optimization.

Excellent coordination, follow-up, and communication skills.

Analytical mindset with forecasting and data-driven decision-making ability.

High ownership, speed, and bias for action in a startup environment.
