We are looking for a Deputy Manager to support the firm's professional services across multiple functions, including audit, taxation, compliance, and advisory, as required. The role involves managing client engagements, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support client engagements across assigned service areas
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with them to ensure smooth execution
- Assist in planning and executing assignments as per firm requirements
- Review work prepared by juniors and articles, wherever applicable
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, standards, and professional guidelines
- Prepare and review reports, submissions, and documentation for client deliverables
- Track timelines and ensure timely completion of assignments
- Support senior management in client handling and operational activities
- Contribute to internal coordination and continuous process improvements
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
- 35 years of post-qualification experience in a CA firm
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Good communication skills with effective client-handling ability
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant professional software
Preferred (Added Advantage):
- Exposure to statutory audit or internal audit assignments
- Experience in direct and/or indirect taxation
- Knowledge of corporate compliance or advisory services
- Prior experience in reviewing or supervising work of junior team members
