We Are Hiring: Finance Officer

We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join our Finance team and support business operations in India. This role plays a key part in ensuring strong financial governance, operational efficiency, and strategic financial planning across the organization.

The Finance Officer will work closely with commercial teams and senior leadership to analyze financial performance, support business decision-making, and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

Oversee daily financial operations including AP/AR, general ledger, banking, cash flow, and inventory accounting

Ensure accurate financial records in line with accounting standards and company policies

Monitor working capital and maintain effective cash flow management

Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Manage the monthly financial close process and report to group finance

Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts and provide insights

Budgeting & Strategic Planning

Lead annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes

Support long-term financial planning aligned with business strategy

Monitor performance against financial targets and recommend corrective actions

Tax & Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with Indian taxation regulations including GST and corporate tax

Manage statutory filings and coordinate with tax advisors and authorities

Audit & Governance

Coordinate statutory and internal audits

Ensure adherence to financial controls and corporate governance policies

Liaise with external auditors and resolve audit queries

Business Insights & Profitability

Provide financial analysis to support pricing, margins, and profitability

Conduct cost management and profitability analysis across products and business segments

Investment & Project Evaluation

Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and investment opportunities

Conduct financial feasibility studies for new initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management

Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and financial analysis

Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or ACCA are highly preferred

Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or commodity trading industries is a plus
