Finance Manager & Operations Lead (System Architect)

Location: Bangalore (On-site / Field-heavy)

Type: 1-Year Contract (3-month probation), extendable to 3 years

The Mission

We don't just do accounting; we build systems that promote financial agency and operational elegance. We are looking for a Finance Manager who views compliance as an art form and efficiency as a personal mission.

Your primary goal To serve as the definitive buffer between the leadership and the noise of administration. You will manage and execute the financial and operational lifecycles of multiple entities, ensuring that every ledger balances, every contract is airtight, and every regulatory hurdle is cleared before it even appears on our radar.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Governance & Execution

• Multi-Entity Management: Oversee accrual accounting and financial health for 2–3 distinct organizations/vehicles.
• Tax & Compliance Lead: Take 100% ownership of GST, TDS, and evolving IT Rules. You are our primary defense against non-compliance.
• Banking & Forex: Navigate the complexities of international payments (Wise/PayPal), manage FIRC errors, and maintain proactive relationships with bank managers.
• Audit Mastery: Lead audit debriefs with CAs and ensure all accounting in Zoho Books/Tally is categorized with surgical precision (Design, Writing, Translation, etc.).

2. Systems, Automation & Efficiency

• The Efficiency Mandate: Review all manual operational processes. If a task is tedious, you are expected to automate it or implement a low-carbon-footprint tech solution to eliminate the bottleneck.
• Infrastructure Setup: Deploy and maintain payment infrastructure, including card machines, billing system integrations, and platform-specific financial tools.

3. Legal, Contracts & IP

• Contract Management: Update, draft, and execute contracts and policies. You aren't just filing papers; you are architecting the legal framework of our partnerships.
• Intellectual Property & Visas: Handle prep and delivery of IP filings, visa applications, insurance renewals and any other paperwork we need.

4. On-Ground Operations & Procurement

• Radical Logistics: Manage international shipping for products and services. Maintain a robust local vendor network.
• Office & Space Management: Ensure the office is rented, furnished, compliant, and thriving. Use platforms like Zoho, Perk to enable bookings, budgets, and approvals initiatives.
• Personal Presence: Navigate Bangalore. You will personally visit banks, government offices, and vendors to ensure the business moves smoothly.
