- As a Team Leader, you will manage a team of accountants and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations
- You will report to the Assistant VP - Finance and work closely with the management to ensure the financial health of the organization

- Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervise and manage a team of accountants, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure adherence to accounting principles.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct regular variance analysis to track and explain deviations from budgeted figures.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop financial budgets and monitor income and expenses.
- Thorough understanding of all compliances specifically GST and TDS.
- Preparation, review and help in filing of all returns ensuring compliance with all statutory laws. Including but not limited to GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and PT.
- Assist in managing the organisation's cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Handle accounting tasks using Tally software.
- Assist in managing audit requirements and liaising with auditors.
- Support in income tax-related matters.
- Prepare various management information system (MIS) reports to facilitate decision-making.
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts, fixed assets, and inventory items.
- Responsible for Monthly closing
- Support in the finalisation of accounts.
- Support in compliance paperwork from time to time
Company Secretary & Compliance (As per Mumbai Charity Commissioner Regulations):
- Ensure compliance with The Maharashtra Public Trusts Act, 1950, and rules prescribed by the Mumbai Charity Commissioner.
- Maintain statutory records such as trust registration documents, governing council resolutions, and compliance reports.
- File periodic returns, including the Schedule IX and other reports required by the Charity Commissioner.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of Trustee Meeting Minutes, Resolutions, and Annual Reports to the Charity Commissioner.
- Oversee legal compliance, including Shop & Establishment Act, Labour Laws, and Trust-related tax exemptions.
- Handle amendments, if any, to the trust deed, governing council changes, and charity-related submissions.
- Liaise with the Charity Commissioner's office, legal counsel, and other regulatory authorities for compliance-related matters.
- Assist in drafting agreements, contracts, and legal documents pertaining to the trust's operations.
- Requirements:
- Company Secretary & MBA in Finance or Master s degree in Commerce or Accounting.
- CA inter or ICWA intermediate qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
- Proficiency in using accounting software, preferably Tally.
- Excellent numerical, mathematical, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to prioritize and solve problems.
- As a Team Leader - Accounts, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
- You will be expected to lead your team effectively, provide strategic insights, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organisation.
