Job Description

Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Gurugram (Sector 14)

Benefits: As per company policy

Job Type: Full-Time

Reporting To: Corporate General Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure accuracy of books of accounts and compliance with accounting standards
  • Analyze financial performance and submit reports to management
  • Monitor hotel revenue, expenses, and profitability
  • Prepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts
  • Track actual performance vs budget and report variances
  • Support department heads in budget planning and cost control
  • Implement cost control systems for food cost, beverage cost, payroll, and operating expenses
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure corrective actions are taken
  • Manage accounts payable and ensure timely vendor settlements
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on pending guest/corporate payments
  • Ensure GST, TDS, and statutory compliance as per government norms
  • Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for filing and audits
  • Handle daily cash flow, bank operations, and bank reconciliation
  • Manage petty cash and imprest accounts
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits
  • Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation records
  • Control wastage, pilferage, and ensure proper asset management
  • Supervise finance/accounts staff and ensure proper work allocation
  • Provide training, feedback, and maintain discipline in the team
  • Ensure proper use of accounting software/ERP systems (Tally, Hotelogix etc.)
  • Improve internal controls and support process automation initiatives

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
  • CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in hotel or hospitality finance
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality accounting systems

Requirements / Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Hotelogix etc.)
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work under pressure during audits and month-end closing
