Finance Manager

Job Purpose

To lead and control the financial governance, revenue assurance, and statutory compliance of the Visa Application Centre (VAC), ensuring accurate accounting, cash security, embassy fund protection, payroll integrity, and profitability, while supporting strategic business decisions and contract compliance.

The role is accountable for financial integrity, audit readiness, cost control, and zero revenue leakage across VAC operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Leads the financial operations of the Visa Application Centre to ensure accurate revenue recognition, cash control, and financial discipline.
2. Ensures full segregation and protection of Embassy funds and Company revenues in line with contractual and audit requirements.
3. Oversees daily cash, POS, and bank reconciliations to ensure zero variance and timely settlement.
4. Manages monthly closing, financial reporting, and management dashboards.
5. Controls operating costs, vendor payments, and payroll expenses to maintain profitability and budget discipline.
6. Ensures full compliance with VAT, tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
7. Leads and coordinates internal, Embassy, and statutory audits.
8. Supports the Country Manager and Operations with financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support.
9. Oversees annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes in collaboration with the Group Finance unit.
10. Analyzes financial performance and provides insights on variances, trends, and risks to support executive decision-making.

Indicative KRAs / Budgetary and Revenue Responsibilities

1. Achieve 100% accuracy in revenue, cash, and bank reconciliation.
2. Ensure zero financial losses, fraud, or revenue leakage.
3. Ensure 100% compliance with Embassy financial requirements, VAT, and statutory regulations.
4. Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reports, MORs, and management accounts.
5. Maintain budget adherence and cost control across payroll, vendors, and operations.
6. Support achievement of VAC revenue and profitability targets.
7. Ensure successful completion of all audits with no major non-conformances.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

Education

• Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.

Experience

• 8–12 years of experience in finance and accounting.
• 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in cash-intensive, regulated environments such as visa services, BPO, banking, government services, or hospitality preferred.
