Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership- Lead end-to-end financial operations for 3-5 major client accounts across different industries (Tech, Web3, Creative Agencies, Retail)
- Oversee multi-entity consolidations, intercompany transactions, and cross-border financial reporting
- Drive financial transformations - we've turned companies from £1.5M losses to £1M profits
Technical Excellence Across Multiple Scopes- M&A & Restructuring: Lead post-merger integrations, financial due diligence, and restructuring projects
- Tax Optimisation: Develop tax strategies across UK/US/international jurisdictions (transfer pricing, R&D credits, VAT planning)
- Advanced Reporting: Create investor-ready financials, KPI dashboards, board packs, and strategic forecasts
- Systems & Automation: Lead ERP migrations, implement financial controls, and drive process improvements
- Specialised Accounting: Handle complex areas like revenue recognition (IFRS 15), tokenomics reporting for Web3 clients, project-based accounting
Client & Team Management- Serve as the primary financial adviser to C-suite executives and founders
- Lead a team of 5-10 finance professionals using our structured 5-person framework
- Coordinate with tax advisers, auditors, and legal teams across multiple countries
- Manage urgent client requests with our 60-minute response time commitment
Business Development- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing clients
- Support new client onboarding and scope definition
- Contribute to thought leadership and process innovation

Qualifications & Skills:Experience: 7+ years in UK/US accounting with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
Educational Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification
Technical Expertise:
- Advanced Excel capabilities
- Proficiency in multiple accounting systems (Xero, QBO, NetSuite, Sage)
- Strong knowledge of UK/US GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance
- Experience with consolidations, multi-currency accounting, and international tax
Specialised Knowledge (preferred but we'll train the right candidate):
- Web3/Crypto accounting and tokenomics
- R&D tax credits and government grants
- Transfer pricing and international tax planning
- Post-M&A integration experience
