Job Description Finance Manager
Company: Toyo Kombucha (K95 Foods Pvt. Ltd.)
Location: Kamla Nagar, North Delhi
Experience: 610 years (FMCG / Startup preferred)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Finance Manager who can build and run a strong finance function for a fast-growing FMCG brand. This role goes beyond accounting it includes cash flow management, unit economics, channel profitability, and system-driven financial control across retail, quick commerce, and e-commerce channels.
You will work closely with founders and operations to ensure financial discipline, visibility, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Build and maintain monthly financial models and forecasts
- Track GMV, revenue, margins, and contribution by channel (Blinkit, Zepto, GT, Amazon, etc.)
- Analyze SKU-level profitability and pricing strategy
- Provide data-backed recommendations to improve margins and reduce costs
2. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Monitor daily cash flow and liquidity
- Optimize working capital cycle (inventory, receivables, payables)
- Ensure timely collections from distributors and platforms
- Manage vendor payments without impacting operations
3. Accounting & Compliance
- Oversee bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Ensure GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Coordinate with CA for filings, audits, and tax planning
- Maintain clean and audit-ready financial records
4. Inventory & Cost Control
- Track inventory valuation and movement
- Work with operations to reduce:
- Expiry losses
- Dead stock
- Leakage
- Analyze cost of production (COGS) and suggest improvements
5. Channel & Business Performance Tracking
- Build dashboards for:
- Open POs vs fulfilled
- GRN vs dispatch tracking
- Platform-wise profitability
- Identify inefficiencies in:
- Discounts
- Logistics
- Trade margins
6. System & Process Building
- Create SOPs for finance workflows
- Improve automation across:
- Google Sheets / ERP / dashboards
- Ensure minimum manual dependency
- Build a scalable finance system (not person-dependent)
7. Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with:
- Founders
- Sales & operations teams
- Distributors
- External auditors
- Provide clear, structured financial reports
Key Skills Required
Strong understanding of:
- Financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Unit economics (especially FMCG)
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (mandatory)
- Experience with inventory-heavy businesses
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to build systems from scratch
Preferred Qualifications
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)
- Experience in:
- FMCG / D2C / Food & Beverage
- Quick commerce or retail distribution
- Familiarity with:
- Tally / Zoho / ERP systems
- Data tools / dashboards
