Job Description

Management

Maintain and enforce a documented system of finance policies and procedures.
Oversee accounting operations, ensuring the organizational structure meets departmental goals.
Manage and guide a team of at least three finance professionals.
Supervise outsourced finance functions, where applicable.

Operations

Ensure timely processing of accounts payable, receivables, and payroll.
Maintain accurate bank reconciliations and ensure timely debt payments.
Manage the chart of accounts and maintain a systematic filing and control system.
Implement strong internal controls over accounting transactions.

Reporting

Prepare and issue timely and comprehensive financial statements.
Coordinate preparation of the corporate annual report.
Develop and track budgets, forecasts, and key financial metrics.
Provide variance analysis and financial insights for management decisions.
Support business planning, pricing, capital investment, and contract negotiations.

Compliance

Liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal reporting and tax requirements.
Monitor debt levels and adherence to debt covenants.
