Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:

Management

  • Maintain and enforce a documented system of finance policies and procedures.
  • Oversee accounting operations, ensuring the organizational structure meets departmental goals.
  • Manage and guide a team of at least three finance professionals.
  • Supervise outsourced finance functions, where applicable.

Operations

  • Ensure timely processing of accounts payable, receivables, and payroll.
  • Maintain accurate bank reconciliations and ensure timely debt payments.
  • Manage the chart of accounts and maintain a systematic filing and control system.
  • Implement strong internal controls over accounting transactions.

Reporting

  • Prepare and issue timely and comprehensive financial statements.
  • Coordinate preparation of the corporate annual report.
  • Develop and track budgets, forecasts, and key financial metrics.
  • Provide variance analysis and financial insights for management decisions.
  • Support business planning, pricing, capital investment, and contract negotiations.

Compliance

  • Liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal reporting and tax requirements.
  • Monitor debt levels and adherence to debt covenants.
