About Our Client

Our client is an established real estate asset manager looking to hire a hands-on Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finance operations, reporting, audit, tax and cash management. This is a broad role within a lean team, suited to someone comfortable working independently and partnering closely with both finance and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including payments, bank reconciliations, month-end schedules and financial statements
• Review monthly management reports and budget-versus-actual expenses variance analysis
• Lead the statutory audit process and preparation of statutory accounts
• Review GST, income tax and deferred tax computations
• Oversee property tax schedules and tenant recoveries
• Manage cash flow, fixed deposits and interest payments on loans and swaps
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through technology, automation and practical AI-enabled solutions

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience in the real estate sector
• Prior experience auditing real estate, asset management or property-related businesses preferred, but not a must
• Comfortable working independently within a lean team
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Tech-savvy and proactive in exploring automation, digital tools and AI solutions to improve efficiency and reporting
• Hands-on, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
