Finance Manager

Working Days / Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM - 6:00PM

Working Location: Seputeh, FT Kuala Lumpur

Job Description:

Single point of accountability for business entities and lead team to be primarily in-charged of month-end close and related activities and prepare performance results, planning and analysis to central team in HQ.

1. Overall in-charge of all accounting, tax and treasury activities and processes, and financial deliverables for entities.
2. Expanded scope to include responsibility on credit related matters for Rest of Asia to work and interact closely with the Credit Manager at BU to ensure compliance and risk mitigation in place whilst Letter of Credits are issued timely.
3. Ensure that financial information, analysis and reporting are timely, reliable, of quality and relevant in accordance to group requirement.
4. Ensure that the company is compliance with all statutory, regulatory, banking, tax, and other external and internal operating, reporting and record keeping requirements.
5. Lead annual planning, performance management process to assist business on target delivery.
6. Develop and customize performance management process and fit-for-purpose management information to support effective decision-making.
7. Act as co-pilot for business in budgeting management and driving performance improvement.
8. Responsible for robust working capital management and accountable for funding management to ensure liquidity required.
9. Work directly with key stakeholders at their location or in their business area to resolve issues and questions.
10. Act as expert user to sure SAP system integrity and consistency across sites, investigate discrepancies and work with Asian sites to prepare reconciliations and provide solutions.
11. Act as the key liaison to interface with BU / Group and other departments, e.g., HR and Commercials, as well as external stakeholders (auditors, banks and local authorities).

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting with more than 7 years relevant experience in related fields.
2. Thorough and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of accounting, treasury, credit, tax and financial management.
3. Skilled at application of SAP, especially in FI / CO / SD.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation to influence peer and management.
5. Frequently mentor junior staff in field of expertise.
6. Diagnoses and solves complex, rare technical or process issues, and evaluate impact on business.
7. Able to provide multiple, creative alternative solutions as required.
