Job Description

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager who will work closely with the CFO and take ownership of day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including financial closure, reporting, statutory compliance, cash flow and audits.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, detail-oriented with the ability to independently analyse financial issues, identify solutions and take ownership of routine finance matters. The role will involve working closely with the CFO and finance team to ensure accurate, timely and compliant financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage monthly and annual financial closure and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Prepare and review P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, Trial Balance, General Ledger and MIS.
  • Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax/ITR, PF, PT, ESIC, ROC and other applicable statutory compliances.
  • Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, Tax Auditors, CA/CS and external consultants and ensure timely
  • completion of audit requirements.
  • Prepare cash-flow forecasts and monitor collections, payments, working capital and liquidity.
  • Review the work of the finance and accounting team and ensure accuracy, timely completion and accountability.
  • Identify accounting and finance issues, assess their impact and provide practical solutions and recommendations to the CFO.
  • Maintain and improve finance processes, SOPs, documentation and internal controls.
  • Handle finance and accounting requirements across multiple entities, wherever applicable.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Finance & Accounts.
  • CA Inter / CMA / relevant finance qualification preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large financial datasets and reports.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership without requiring constant supervision.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with auditors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth environment is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict reporting and compliance timelines.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work directly with the CFO and senior management.
  • Should be comfortable challenging discrepancies, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions.
