Finance Manager (North)

Brief Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulations. This role involves partnership with senior management to enhance profitability and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support the complete accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
• Lead product costing initiatives, including standard cost setting and cost roll-ups.
• Analyze key cost drivers such as materials, labor, and overhead absorption to identify reduction opportunities.
• Develop financial models to facilitate strategic planning and decision-making.
• Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Oversee the bi-annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to align objectives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, coordinating audits and tax filings.
• Manage cash flow and implement strategies to optimize banking relationships and returns on surplus funds.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, ideally within the manufacturing sector, with proven management capability.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership qualities and team management abilities.
• High level of confidentiality, proactive approach, and meticulous attention to detail.
