Job Description

In order to continue meeting our expansion needs, we are actively seeking highly skilled professionals in various areas. As a Fintech startup, Finance plays a critical role, and we are currently seeking an exceptional candidate to lead our Finance team. We believe that the addition of a talented leader will enable us to maintain our commitment to excellence and achieve continued success.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting.
  • Minimum experience in accounting and finance role of 7-10 years.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial planning & and analysis.
  • Professional qualification (CA/CFA) is highly preferred.
  • Experience in Fintech or Financial industries is highly preferred.
  • Experience with an audit firm is an added advantage.
  • Understanding accounting systems such as QuickBooks is an added advantage.
  • Good attitude & fast learner, with strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily payment settlements to merchants/partners in a timely and accurate manner.
  • The position will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, Controller activities, Taxation, Investor Management and leading a diverse team in multiple countries
  • He / She will be working closely with the CEO to provide vision and leadership for all aspects of the finance function including the Company's financing arrangements.
  • Ensure the books of accounts of the Group of Companies are always correct and up to date.
  • Monitor and maintain all periodic financial reports & MIS.
  • Develop and manage all the internal as well as external reporting including investor reporting, management reporting, and statutory reporting.
  • Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
  • Responsible for all tax-related filings and timeliness of all regulatory and financial filings.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control systems and statutory financial regulations.
  • Looking for managing the quarterly & and annual operating plan, Budgeting & forecasting, MIS and Financial reporting, setting up process & control, Operational and financial metrics analysis, etc.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders proactively.
  • Handle local and statutory reporting matters in each country.
  • Ensure the weekly closing process is adhered to and complied with.
  • Assist in analysis and number crunching for senior management.
  • Ensure timely revenue and cost of sales recognition.
  • Monitoring transactions, identifying irregularities in invoices, monitoring bank deposits, and payments, etc.
  • Handle financial audits.
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
  • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Take on ad-hoc projects/assignments from time to time.
