Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented finance professional to lead end-to-end financial operations, reporting, compliance, and strategic planning. The role involves managing core finance functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving financial insights, and supporting business growth through data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Financial Operations Management

  • Oversee end-to-end financial operations: AP, AR, GL, inventory accounting, banking, and cash flow
  • Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions as per accounting standards and company policies
  • Monitor working capital and maintain healthy cash flow
  • Manage treasury activities including liquidity planning, funding, and forex exposure
  • Handle inventory control and management

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Lead monthly financial close process with timely reporting to management and group finance
  • Analyze performance vs budgets/forecasts and provide actionable insights

Start-up Operations Support

  • Support tax registrations and statutory setup
  • Facilitate bank account opening processes
  • Assist in ERP system implementation and management
  • Handle employee registration and compliance-related activities

Budgeting, Forecasting & Strategic Planning

  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises
  • Support long-term financial strategy aligned with business goals
  • Track performance against targets and recommend corrective actions

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with direct/indirect tax laws, including GST filings
  • Coordinate with tax advisors and regulatory authorities
  • Ensure timely statutory filings and documentation
  • Manage forex transactions in compliance with RBI & FEMA regulations

Audit & Governance

  • Manage statutory, internal, and regulatory audits
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and governance standards
  • Liaise with auditors and close audit queries efficiently

Management Reporting & Business Insights

  • Present financial and operational KPIs to senior leadership
  • Provide insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Partner with commercial teams on pricing, margins, and profitability

Cost Management & Profitability Analysis

  • Monitor cost drivers and identify optimization opportunities
  • Conduct profitability analysis across products, customers, and segments
  • Support pricing strategies and margin improvement initiatives
