Job Description

Managing the full spectrum of finance and accounting activities, including month-end and year-end closing processes
Preparing financial statements, management reports and regulatory submissions
Overseeing cash flow planning, treasury activities and financial controls
Coordinating audit activities and ensuring compliance with statutory and tax requirements
Supporting group reporting, budgeting exercises and mid-term business planning initiatives
Partnering regional entities to facilitate financial consolidation and reporting processes
Contributing to HR administration, corporate governance initiatives and company-wide policy development

The Successful Applicant

Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
5+ years of accounting and finance experience with exposure to financial reporting
Experience managing statutory audits and compliance-related activities
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Experience engaging stakeholders across different business functions
Prior exposure to regional reporting, group consolidation or multi-entity environments will be advantageous
Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N1 or JLPT N2 level (or equivalent professional fluency) is essential due to regular communication, reporting and collaboration with stakeholders based in Japan.
