Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
- Revenue assurance activities involving Month end close for Management reporting, tracking Actuals against the Plan/Forecast/Past performance and Variance Analysis on the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Exercising strong control over Monthly Sales and revenue close for assigned markets in Asia in alignment with the group's reporting policies and standards
- Liaising with the auditors (internal and external) for smooth and timely audit closures
- Ensuring the pending book (key deals pending implementation) are appropriately recorded and tracked. Imparting visibility to ensure no revenue leakages and timely bringing concerns to the apt attention of the management.
- Ensuring compliance of the SOX controls and adhering to its timelines
- Monitoring the ITB (In The Bag) revenue and ensuring its accuracy for the close
- Ability to understand complex structuring of commercial deals and its flow through into revenue
- Facilitating Credit Control reviews to keep a check on customer debts, provisions thereon, collections and credit notes issued
- Having effective communication skills, ability to have a good connect with the relevant stakeholders and be a fine team contributor
- Ready to learn / adapt to new financial reporting systems. Experience of working with systems : SAP, Pyramid, Hyperion, Salesforce an added advantage
- Having an eye for not only at looking for the actual financial results but also understanding its implications for the future and taking any necessary actions that would help mitigate risk on company's revenue
Qualifications & Experience:
- 8+ years with demonstrated ownership of month-end close, revenue close, and variance analysis.
- Proficient in collaborating and delivering results in a fast-paced, complex global business environment.
- Strong commercial approach and good communication / story telling skills and analytical mindset.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects with competing demands for resource Exposure to financial transformation is an added advantage but not mandatory.
- Degree (or equivalent) and relevant professional qualification
