A hospital group's shared back-office team, covering four of its units, hiring for its finance team. The team supports four hospitals, so requests arrive from many directions at once. Why we are hiring
The manager owns month-end close, budgets and the reporting that management uses to run the business, and leads a small team. Finance spans four hospital units, each with its own billing, inventory and payer mix.
What the manager owns
- Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts with department heads
- Analyse variances and explain them clearly to management
- Manage cash flow planning and banking relationships
- Oversee statutory compliance including GST, TDS and audit support
- Review and improve finance processes and internal controls
- Guide and develop accountants and analysts in the team
- Prepare board and lender reports
Profile we are after
- 6 to 11 years in finance, budgeting and reporting
- CA, CMA or MBA (Finance)
- Experience running month-end close and management reporting
- Good knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax compliance
- Strong Excel and ERP skills
- People-management experience, even on a small team
A plus
- Experience in an owner-led or mid-sized business
- Audit or statutory-compliance background
- Experience with budgeting tools
