Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead financial reporting, audit closure, and monthly/quarterly financial processes. The role requires a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least an year's relevant industry experience, possessing strong technical knowledge of Ind AS and hands-on expertise in financial controls. The candidate should be able to collaborate effectively with the team, drive reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of FS preparation on a quarterly basis, with benchmarking against listed peer entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Statements & Reporting:
Prepare quarterly financial statements as per Ind AS and regulatory requirements.
Ensure all supporting schedules reconcile with the Trial Balance (TB) on a quarterly basis.
Perform peer benchmarking and variance analysis with listed entities.
Month-End & Costing:
Drive month-end closing activities, including provisions, accruals, and adjustments.
Finalize COGS computation in line with business operations and inventory valuation principles.
Collaborate with the team to validate expense provisions and ensure correct period cut-offs.
Audit & Compliance:
Lead audit closure process and act as the primary point of contact for statutory and internal auditors.
Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, and other applicable laws/regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation and resolve audit queries in a timely manner.
Team Collaboration & Communication:
Work with cross-functional teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Tech) to ensure accurate and timely data flow into finance.
Mentor and guide team members to improve reconciliations, provisions, and reporting processes.
Establish discipline in timelines for financial closure.
Financial Control & Governance:
Ensure strong internal controls around revenue, cost, and provisions.
Review reconciliations for balance sheet and P&L accounts.
Monitor working capital elements and provide management with key insights.
Qualifications and Skills:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the industry.
Strong knowledge of Ind AS, financial reporting, and audit processes.
Ability to prepare FS on a quarterly basis and drive audit closure independently.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work across teams.
Hands-on experience with ERPs (Oracle).
Familiarity with MIS reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Process-oriented mindset with exposure to automation in financial reporting.
