Job Description

Hiring: Finance Manager cum Chartered Accountant (CA)

for Gabion Technologies India Ltd.

Gabion Technologies India Ltd., a listed company, is looking for an experienced and highly competent Finance Manager cum Chartered Accountant (CA) to lead and manage the complete finance, accounts, compliance, taxation, audit, reporting, and recovery functions of the organization.

The role requires a strong finance professional capable of independently handling the entire finance department, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance applicable to a listed entity, strengthening financial controls, managing audits and reporting, and driving efficient receivables and cash flow management.

This is a leadership position requiring strong expertise in corporate finance, accounting, taxation, audit, compliance, SEBI and Companies Act requirements, banking, MIS, and payment recovery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance & Accounts Management

- Handle end-to-end finance and accounting operations of the company

- Ensure accurate bookkeeping, accounting entries, reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny

- Finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Ensure proper accounting as per applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements

- Supervise accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and expense management functions

- Monitor budgets, profitability, project costing, and financial planning

2. Listed Company Compliance & Regulatory Functions

- Ensure compliance with provisions applicable to listed companies under:

- Companies Act

- SEBI Regulations

- Stock Exchange requirements

- Corporate governance norms

- Coordinate with Company Secretary, statutory auditors, internal auditors, and regulatory authorities

- Support board reporting, audit committee requirements, and financial disclosures

- Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial information and compliance reports

3. Taxation & Audit

- Handle complete direct and indirect taxation matters

- Ensure timely filing and compliance of:

GST Returns

TDS Returns

Income Tax Returns

ROC Filings

PF & ESIC

Other statutory compliances

- Handle tax assessments, notices, departmental queries, and litigation support

- Manage statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and financial due diligence processes

- Strengthen internal financial controls and compliance systems

4. Payment Recovery & Receivables Management (Critical Responsibility)

- Take complete ownership of payment follow-ups and collection management

- Drive timely recovery of outstanding receivables

- Coordinate directly with clients for payment release and reconciliation

- Maintain receivable ageing analysis and collection MIS

- Work closely with management, project, and sales teams to improve collections and cash flow

- Ensure strong financial discipline with focus on reducing overdue payments

5. Banking, Treasury & Cash Flow Management

- Manage banking relationships and treasury operations

- Monitor cash flow, fund planning, and working capital requirements

- Handle banking documentation, limits, BGs, LC documentation, and financial coordination

- Ensure timely vendor payments and optimized fund utilization

6. MIS, Reporting & Financial Analysis

- Prepare and present:

MIS Reports

Cash Flow Statements

P&L Statements

Balance Sheets

Budget vs Actual Reports

Receivable & Payable Reports

Financial Analysis for management decision-making

- Provide strategic financial inputs to senior management

7. Team Management & Process Improvement

- Lead and manage the accounts and finance team

- Ensure timely completion of all departmental activities

- Develop financial SOPs, systems, and reporting structures

- Improve internal controls, efficiency, and accountability across finance operations

Desired Candidate Profile

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory

- Strong experience in handling finance and compliance functions of a listed company

- Sound knowledge of SEBI regulations, Companies Act provisions, corporate governance, taxation, and audits

- Strong expertise in accounts finalization, financial controls, MIS, and recovery management

- Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and coordination skills

- Strong command over Tally, Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools

- Ability to independently manage the complete finance function

Preferred Industry Experience

- Candidates from infrastructure, engineering, EPC, construction, manufacturing, or project-based industries will be preferred.

Experience

- 7–12 years of relevant experience preferred

₹12-14 LPA (depending on experience and profile)
