About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager with a strong background in the construction industry to oversee and manage end-to-end financial operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in accounting, statutory compliance, payroll, and financial reporting across India and US entities.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Accounting & Financial Management:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial closures
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in maintaining books of accounts
2) GST & Statutory Compliance:
- Handle GST filings, reconciliations, and compliance
- Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements including TDS, Professional Tax, EPFO, and ESI
3) Debtors Management:
- Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely follow-ups with clients
- Improve cash flow through effective collections and aging analysis
4) Multi-Entity Accounting (India & US):
- Manage accounting and reporting for both India and US entities
- Coordinate with external consultants/auditors for compliance and reporting
5) Payroll Management:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing including salary disbursement
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements
6) TDS & Filings:
- Manage TDS deductions, filings, and reconciliations
- Ensure timely submission of all statutory returns
7) MIS & Reporting:
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data
8) Expense Planning & Budgeting:
- Estimate and forecast expenses for subsequent months
- Support budgeting and cost control initiatives
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years in Finance/Accounts, preferably in the construction industry
- Qualification: CA / CMA / MBA Finance / B.Com or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, compliance, and payroll regulations
- Experience in handling US accounting or international entities is preferred
- Proficiency in accounting tools (Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
