- Job Description:
- Assist the Senior Finance Manager with the finance function for India.
- Conduct variance analysis for actual, forecast, and budget key financial KPIs.
- Direct & Indirect Tax:Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, TP and Professional Tax, including timely return filing.
- Tax Assessments & Audits:Handle Income Tax assessments, scrutiny, and Transfer Pricing studies, managing litigations and notices.
- TDS/WHT Compliance:Oversee withholding tax compliance on domestic and foreign vendor payments, including obtaining Lower/Nil TDS Certificates.
- Reconciliation:Perform GSTR-2A/2B reconciliations and 26AS reconciliations.
- Collaborate with in-house shared services and group consolidation teams to ensure timely and accurate submission and reporting of financial data at month-end.
- Lead Annual Statutory Audits:Manage the entire audit process, serving as the main point of contact for external auditors to ensure timely closure of audits with minimal observations.
- Financial Statements:Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with local GAAP/IND-AS/IFRS.
- Uphold finance and internal control policies and procedures, according to the delegation of authority matrix.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Senior Finance Manager.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies (e.g., MCA, Tax Department).
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or other similar professional qualifications, CPA/CA
- At least 5-7 years of experience
- Experience leading a small team.
- Team player and service-oriented
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Proactive and keeps track of regulatory changes
- Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS & US GAAP), taxation standards, and relevant statutory requirements
