Job Description

Role Overview

This role is responsible for building and leading the finance function across a growing, multi-geography organization. The Finance Manager will oversee taxation, compliance, budgeting, cost control, reporting, and overall financial governance.

Working closely with leadership, the role ensures financial planning and execution align with business growth objectives while maintaining transparency, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Planning

• Define and execute financial strategy aligned with business goals

• Lead annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting across units and geographies

• Provide financial insights and scenario-based analysis for decision-making

2. Taxation & Compliance

• Oversee taxation across India, the UK, and other jurisdictions

• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and statutory requirements

• Manage relationships with auditors, tax consultants, and authorities

3. Financial Control & Reporting

• Establish and strengthen financial policies, processes, and internal controls

• Lead preparation and consolidation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual)

• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and audit requirements

4. Expense & Cost Management

• Implement governance frameworks for expense tracking and approvals

• Drive cost optimization while supporting business growth

• Oversee receivables, payables, and credit control processes

5. Leadership & Collaboration

• Partner with HR and Operations on payroll, benefits, and compliance

• Support leadership on entity setup, cross-border structuring, and investments

6. Governance & Systems

• Oversee company secretarial and board-level compliance matters

• Ensure adherence to internal audit frameworks and ISO standards

• Drive adoption of finance tools and systems

Qualifications & Skills

• CA, CPA, ACCA, or MBA (Finance)

• Strong expertise in international taxation, IFRS/GAAP, and compliance

• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting

• Ability to build and scale finance functions in a growing setup

• Strong analytical thinking and stakeholder management skills

• Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategy and execution
