Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and a proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing accounts, and ensuring that all financial records are up to date and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit Loss, Cash Flow).
- Ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Accounts Payable Receivable:
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
- Ensure proper documentation and approval for all payments and transactions.
- General Ledger Management:
- Review and post journal entries, ensuring proper accounting treatment and accurate classification.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all entries are recorded on time and accurately.
- Tax Compliance Filing:
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, including GST, TDS, and other relevant taxes.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and documentation, working with external auditors as necessary.
- Internal Controls:
- Ensure adherence to internal control policies to minimize risks and prevent financial discrepancies.
- Monitor compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Ensure monthly revenue reconciliation and review the accuracy of accounting entries.
- Financial Analysis Insights:
- Provide financial analysis and insights to assist management in decision-making.
- Generate reports on revenue, expenses, and other key performance metrics.
- Team Management:
- Supervise and mentor a team of junior accountants and accounting assistants.
- Provide guidance on best accounting practices and ensure continuous professional development for the team.
- Audit Compliance:
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing requested financial data and supporting documentation.
- Ensure financial records are compliant with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- Professional accounting qualification (CA / MBA in Finance) (preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting software Tally Prime (Mandatory).
