Finance Manager

The Finance Manager works across Admiral Digital and its affiliate or groups companies (the Company). You will be part of a fast-growing team, reporting directly to the Co-Founder.

You manage the finance function by assisting the Co-Founder on the day-to-day coordination and processing of Finance and Administration operational tasks for the Company.

You have the ability to think strategically and execute brilliantly. You have good organizational skills and attention to detail. You are comfortable with IT and accounting systems and strive to achieve efficiency in business administration and reporting.

You communicate clearly to internal and external stakeholders and are responsible for direct client updates around all finance and administration matters. You will ensure that the Company's professional standards are never compromised. To this end, you will ensure that systems and procedures are maintained, and that the Company operates to the highest level of compliance, quality, efficiency, client service and professionalism.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for financial consolidation across Malaysia, Singapore and Belgium ensuring accurate group reporting, financial governance, and coordination on local finance and tax requirements.
• Manage invoice issuance on a timely and accurate manner, effectively manage receivables, ensure full payment, and assess risk to avoid bad debt.
• Manage payment cycles, maintain healthy cash flow, and ensure a positive reputation for the Company of being a diligent pay-master.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledgers, accounts receivables, and accounts payables in each of the accounting system (i.e., Xero).
• Responsible for maintaining proper record keeping of all documentation.
• Assist with the bi-monthly SST, quarterly GST and quarterly VAT submission of the Company within deadlines.
• Responsible for the annual taxation and statutory audit of the Company to ensure completion within deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory guidelines and deadlines of the Company.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 8+ years of finance experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; bonus points for startup experience.
• Knowledge in SG and Belgium direct & indirect taxation (added advantage).
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Experienced in managing multiple tasks whilst adhering to strict deadlines and ensuring compliance to standards..
• High level of problem solving aptitude and stakeholder management skill.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with teams.
