Role Overview:

We are seeking a high-energy, recently qualified Chartered Accountant to join us as a Management Trainee in Business Finance. In this dynamic, high-visibility role, you will work closely with our FP&A and Corporate Finance teams, bridging the gap between core accounting and strategic business growth. This position is an exceptional launchpad for a driven CA looking to accelerate their career in strategic finance.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & MIS: Compile comprehensive monthly financial management packs (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet) and monitor daily operational metrics to ensure accurate business tracking.
  • Variance Analysis: Conduct granular budget vs. actual variance analyses, utilizing your strong accounting foundation to identify root causes and highlight financial risks or opportunities to management.
  • Annual Operating Plan (AOP): Assist in building bottom-up revenue and OpEx models. Work alongside business leaders to set departmental targets and run detailed scenario analyses during annual budget cycles.
  • Strategic Planning: Support the development of long-term, 5-year financial models and execute market benchmarking to evaluate and validate strategic growth initiatives.
  • Board & Investor Communications: Help draft high-quality presentation decks and consolidate financial data packages for Board of Directors meetings and Investor Relations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Qualifications: Recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of financial statements, core accounting principles, and strong baseline proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Business Acumen: High-energy, analytical mindset with a strong desire to transition from traditional audit/compliance into strategic FP&A and corporate finance.
  • Communication: Ability to distill complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance leadership and external stakeholders.
