Job Title:

Internal Quality & Assurance Specialist u2013 Accounts Payable (P2P)

Department:

Finance u2013 Procure-to-Pay

Role Purpose:

To ensure accuracy, compliance, and process excellence in the Accounts Payable function by monitoring invoice processing quality, handling exceptions, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Perform regular quality checks on invoices and suppliers to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies and SOX controls.
  • Conduct periodic sample audits of all transactions to identify errors and compliance gaps.
• Root Cause Analysis
  • Analyse recurring errors and exceptions, recommend corrective actions, and implement preventive measures.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
  • Collaborate with automation teams to integrate quality controls in systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bacheloru2019s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 1u20132 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, compliance, and audit controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in quality assurance or internal audit within finance operations.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and global P2P best practices.
• Exposure to process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Invoice accuracy rate
• SLA adherence for quality checks
• Reduction in error % and compliance breaches
• Timely completion of audits and reporting
