Your Role: Finance Intern

As a Finance Intern, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day finance and accounting activities, including invoicing, bookkeeping, GST-related activities, MIS reporting, and monthly closing. This is a full-time role suited for candidates looking to build hands-on experience in finance, accounting, and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support invoicing and billing activities and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices

• Assist with bookkeeping and accounting entries using platforms such as Zoho Books, Tally, SAP, or other ERP systems

• Support monthly closing and booking activities, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time

• Prepare and maintain MIS reports and financial reports as required by the management

• Assist with GST-related activities, including maintaining relevant records and supporting GSTR-related processes

• Support MSME-related documentation and compliance activities

• Coordinate with clients regarding invoices, billing-related queries, documentation, and payment follow-ups

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documents

• Perform data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel

• Support account reconciliations and verification of financial transactions

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of finance and accounting activities

Requirements

Mandatory

• Bachelor's degree in B.Com, BBA, BA Economics, or a related field

• Basic understanding of accounting, bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial operations

• Knowledge of GST and different types of GST – CGST, SGST, IGST, and UTGST

• Basic understanding of GSTR and MSME-related processes

• Hands-on or academic experience with Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, SUM, INDEX, and other basic formulas

• Basic knowledge of Tally

• Good understanding of MIS reporting

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

• Good client communication and coordination skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks within deadlines

Preferred

• Experience with Zoho Books

• Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems

• Prior internship or practical experience in finance, accounting, invoicing, or bookkeeping

• Familiarity with monthly closing and financial reporting processes
