1. Banking & Treasury Support
- Assist with corporate banking activities, including account opening, account maintenance, document submission, and collection of banking documents.
- Liaise with banking partners on account-related matters and follow up on compliance requirements, documentation, and information updates.
- Support daily treasury operations, including bank statement reconciliation, cash position monitoring, and preparation of cash flow reports.
2. Accounting & Finance Operations
- Assist with general ledger data entry, journal preparation, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoice verification and reconciliation.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing supporting schedules and reconciliation reports.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and management reports as required.
3. Financial Documentation & Administration
- Organise, maintain, and archive financial documents, including invoices, payment vouchers, bank advice, contracts, and supporting documents.
- Maintain vendor and customer master data to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation in accordance with company policies and audit requirements.
4. Audit, Compliance & Process Improvement
- Assist in preparing documentation for external audits, GST submissions, and regulatory compliance.
- Support the Finance team in identifying opportunities to improve finance processes, documentation, and operational efficiency.
- Perform other ad-hoc finance and administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
Requirement
- Currently pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Business, or a related discipline
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial statements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas and data analysis)
- Detail-oriented, responsible, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable performing occasional fieldwork, including visits to banks and government agencies when required
