About the Role
BuildAmbit is looking for a Finance Intern to join our Finance team for a 6-month internship. This role is designed for a commerce graduate who wants hands-on exposure to finance operations in a fast-growing business environment.
You will work closely with the Finance team and support day-to-day financial processes, reporting, reconciliations, documentation, and other finance-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Finance team with day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Assist with bank, payment gateway, and ledger reconciliations.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Assist in preparing invoices, payment records, expense statements, and financial documentation.
- Maintain and organise finance-related records and supporting documents.
- Assist with MIS reports, financial trackers, and periodic reporting.
- Support the team during month-end closing and audit-related activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for finance-related data and documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of assigned finance tasks.
- Take up additional finance and accounting responsibilities as required by the team.
What We're Looking For
- B.Com / B.Com (Hons.) graduate.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting and finance concepts.
- Good command of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn and take ownership.
- Ability to work from the office 6 days a week.
