Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance IT Manager – Record to Report (R2R) to support and enhance global SAP Finance solutions within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance modules, finance process transformation, stakeholder management, and IT business partnering. This role will work closely with Finance teams, SAP vendors, and IT delivery partners to ensure stable, scalable, and future-ready finance systems.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Finance Solution Management
- Manage and support SAP Finance solutions across:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Financial Closing Cockpit (FCC)
- Intercompany Accounting
- Settlement Management
- Sales Rebate Management
- Ensure smooth integration between Finance and other SAP modules including SD, MM, PP, and PS.
Business Partnering & Requirement Gathering
- Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
- Act as a strategic IT partner for global finance teams.
- Drive process improvements and finance transformation initiatives.
SAP S/4HANA Support & Enhancements
- Support implementation, upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance of SAP S/4HANA Finance systems.
- Ensure system stability, compliance, and alignment with evolving business requirements.
- Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation and rollout projects.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with SAP vendors, consulting partners, and support teams.
- Conduct regular service reviews and performance discussions.
- Ensure SLA compliance and high-quality IT service delivery.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for automation, AI integration, and process optimization within finance systems.
- Maintain awareness of new SAP technologies and future enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Finance consulting or Finance IT roles.
- Hands-on experience with:
- SAP S/4HANA Finance
- SAP GL, AP, AR, AA
- Settlement Management
- Sales Rebate Management
- Financial Closing Cockpit
- Strong understanding of SAP integrations with MM, SD, PP, and PS modules.
- Experience in at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementations.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and vendor management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification preferred.
- SAP Certifications are a plus.
- Exposure to AI, Automation, and digital transformation initiatives preferred.
- Experience in FMCG or multinational environments highly preferred.
