Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned
Functional Financials COE Lead with deep expertise in
Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and
Oracle Fusion Financials to lead our Oracle Applications practice. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving delivery excellence, solution governance, functional innovation, and practice development across Oracle ERP transformation programs.
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the Functional Center of Excellence (COE) for Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Financials
- Define and enforce delivery standards, templates, governance frameworks, and best practices
- Build reusable accelerators, knowledge repositories, and solution assets for scalable delivery
- Provide functional governance and quality assurance across multiple Oracle ERP engagements
- Act as the functional SME for Oracle ERP implementations, upgrades, and cloud transformation programs
- Lead solution design workshops, business process mapping, and finance transformation initiatives
- Drive pre-sales activities including solutioning, RFP responses, estimation, demos, and client presentations
- Mentor and guide functional consultants across Oracle Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, PO, iProc, SLA, and Projects
- Conduct internal trainings, capability development programs, and recruitment interviews
- Lead large-scale Oracle ERP transformation projects including EBS to Oracle Cloud migrations
- Support change management, user enablement, cutover, testing, and post-go-live activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-focused Oracle ERP solutions
Required Skills
- 15+ years of functional experience in Oracle ERP applications
- Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and Oracle EBS R12
- Deep understanding of Finance business processes including P2P, O2C, and Record-to-Report
- Experience working in consulting or IT services environments with external clients
- Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience with Oracle implementation methodologies such as AIM or OUM
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and advisory skills
- Strong experience in delivery governance, solution architecture, and ERP transformation programs
Good To Have
- Oracle Cloud Financials certifications
- Experience with multi-country rollouts and shared services models
- MBA, CPA, CA, or Finance-related certifications
- Exposure to global Oracle ERP transformation programs
