Job Summary
We are looking for a Finance Trainee to join our team in Koramangala, Bangalore for a 6-month period. You'll get hands-on exposure to finance, accounting, and compliance operations in a deep-tech startup. Outstanding performers may be offered a full-time role after the training period.
What You Will Do
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for business decisions.
- Handle accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, GST compliance, vendor payments, and reimbursements.
- Maintain accurate financial records, invoices, and documentation in line with statutory requirements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects supporting business operations.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields.
- CA aspirants (pursuing CA, IPCC/Inter cleared) are strongly preferred.
- Strong interest in accounting, financial analysis, and compliance.
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with PowerBI, Tally, Zoho, or other accounting tools is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
