Job Title: Finance Executive/Sr. Executive
Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Finance Executive/Senior Finance Executive to
manage end-to-end accounting with a strong focus on
TDS, GST compliance, project and cost centre accounting. The role requires hands-on experience, strong analytical skills, and advanced working knowledge of
Advanced Excel.
The role involves handling accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Compliance
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure statutory compliance and timely closure of monthly and quarterly accounts
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances and filings.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records
- Support management with financial analysis and MIS reporting
- Manage GST compliance: filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliations, and coordination with consultants.
- Support audits (statutory, internal, donor/project audits) and respond to queries.
Project Accounting
- Maintain project-wise accounting, cost tracking, and budget monitoring.
- Ensure accurate allocation of expenses across multiple projects.
- Prepare project financial reports as per donor/client requirements.
- Track utilization, advances, and fund balances for projects.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS, variance analysis, and management reports.
- Assist in cash flow planning and forecasting.
- Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
Systems & Process
- Maintain accounting records in ERP/Tally/other accounting systems.
- Strengthen internal controls and financial processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams for timely financial documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Finance (B.Com, BBA – Finance).
Experience
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts.
- Prior experience in project-based organizations, consulting firms, NGOs, or sustainability-focused organizations is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of TDS and GST laws.
- Hands-on experience in project accounting.
- Excellent MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas; Power Query is a plus).
- Familiarity with accounting software (Tally/ERP).
