Job Description

  • The Finance Executive plays a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the financial planning and analysis functions of the organization. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Accounting Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing and invoice management. Maintain general ledger entries and reconcile bank statements monthly. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and documented.

Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare periodic financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis, identifying trends and flagging areas requiring management attention. Generate ad-hoc financial reports as requested by senior management.

Compliance & Control Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulatory requirements. Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for financial records and audit trails. Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Administrative Support Process expense claims and reimbursements in accordance with company policy. Assist in preparation of financial presentations and board materials. Coordinate with other departments on budget-related matters and financial queries.

Treasury & Cash Management Monitor cash flow and maintain cash flow forecasts. Assist in managing banking relationships and processing treasury transactions. Track company investments and financial instruments as applicable.

Required Qualifications

Education & Certification Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are advantageous but not always required at this level.

Experience Typically 2-4 years of experience in finance or accounting roles. Experience with financial software and ERP systems is highly valued. Prior exposure to financial reporting and analysis is preferred.

Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling). Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
