About Us
We are an established IT company based in Infopark, Kochi, serving clients across multiple countries. We need an Accounts Executive to own the company's day-to-day finances and give leadership a clear, accurate view of where the money stands.
What You Will Do
Books and accounting
- Run the company's accounts end to end in Zoho Books
- Record and reconcile all transactions, bank accounts and vendor ledgers
- Manage receivables, payables, invoicing and payment follow-ups
- Close books monthly, on time and without backlogs
- Prepare monthly cash flow statements, P&L and balance sheets
- Build cash flow forecasts and flag shortfalls early
- Produce monthly MIS reports for management
- Product other financial reports as per the cadence defined.
- Track budgets against actuals and explain variances
- Handle GST filings, TDS deductions and returns
- Manage SEZ compliance, export invoicing, LUT and SOFTEX filings
- Track foreign inward remittances and maintain FIRC records
- Process payroll inputs, PF, ESI and professional tax
- Coordinate with auditors and the CA for statutory and tax audits
- B.Com, M.Com or equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Expert-level Zoho Books skills. You have run a company's books on it, not just used it.
- Strong command of cash flow statements, P&L, balance sheet and working capital
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS and Indian statutory compliance
- Experience with export billing or an SEZ unit is a strong advantage
- Good Excel skills for reconciliations and reports
- Accuracy, discretion and the discipline to meet every filing deadline
- Direct exposure to leadership and real financial decisions
- Ownership of the finance function, not a narrow slice of it
- International client base and a stable, established company
