The Role
As Domain (Finance) Consultant, you are the authority on how enterprise finance actually works — and on how it should be configured in Bluecopa. You own the finance side of every implementation: translating R2R, O2C, and P2P processes and finance rules into accurate, controlled, and reusable configurations that are right the first time and sign-off ready. You lead finance discovery with C-suite stakeholders, eliminate configuration rework, and set the standard for how Bluecopa scales finance delivery.
What You'll Own
- Finance process ownership — Engage with Finance and data teams of customers, understand the current processes, map optimized approaches and convert their real processes into Bluecopa configurations. Bring expertise in Finance processes (R2R/O2C/P2P/Recon etc)
- Finance-rules accuracy — Define and validate reconciliation rules, matching logic, accounting treatments, multi-entity consolidation, exceptions handling etc, so configurations are correct by design.
- Zero finance-config re-work — Own scoping and finance sign-off so requirements are captured right the first time, eliminating downstream rework loops.
- Sign-off readiness — Run UAT from the finance side and own functional sign-off; ensure reconciliations tie out fully before go-live.
- Controls — Design and configure finance controls, segregation of duties, audit trails, and close-readiness into every deployment.
- Solution reusability — Build reusable finance templates, accelerators, and playbooks so each implementation makes the next one faster and more standardized.

Success in this role is measured against concrete outcomes:
- Zero finance-configuration re-work after sign-off
- 100% reconciliation accuracy at go-live.
- ≥ 90% first-time-right finance sign-off rate.
- 100% controls and audit-trail coverage on every go-live.
What You Bring
- 6+ years in implementing finance operations, financial systems consulting, controllership, or finance transformation projects etc
- Deep, hands-on expertise across R2R, O2C, P2P, including reconciliations, multi-entity consolidation, ledger mechanics, and core accounting principles.
- Strong command of finance controls, segregation of duties, close management, and audit readiness.
- Proven ability to lead conversations with Finance stakeholders and command a room containing a Finance leaders.
- Ability to turn fragmented, poorly documented finance processes into standardized, reusable, sign-off-ready configurations.
