Lead financial strategy, funding, budgeting, reporting, and compliance while partnering with stakeholders to support organisational goals and drive operational excellence.
Main duties & responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to support strategic planning, financial policies, organisational objectives, and funding strategies.
- Lead budgeting, funding management, financial reporting, cash flow planning, and variance analysis across multiple entities.
- Oversee grants and funding governance, regulatory compliance, audits, and reporting to boards, management, and government agencies.
- Drive process improvements, strengthen financial controls, and leverage digital solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Lead, develop, and optimise the finance team while managing key internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial sustainability and accountability.
The Talent Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline; CA, CPA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in financial management, budgeting, reporting, and grant administration within the public sector, statutory boards, or government-linked organisations.
- Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders, assess financial risks, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Experience in process improvement, finance transformation, and team leadership, with strong communication and people management skills
