Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and month-end closing activities.
- Manage fund budgets, ensuring effective planning, utilisation, monitoring, and compliance with funding and budget requirements.
- Prepare management reports, financial analyses, and forecasts to support operational and business decision-making.
- Monitor cash budgets and liquidity requirements to ensure adequate funding and effective resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, governance policies, regulatory requirements, and statutory reporting obligations.
- Partner with stakeholders to provide financial guidance, drive process improvements, and lead the finance team in delivering accurate and timely financial activities.
The Talent Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline; CA, CPA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and finance operations.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and governance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders, assess financial risks, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Experience in process improvement, finance transformation, and team leadership, with strong communication and people management skills
