Outpace Consulting Services is seeking a Finance Data Analyst to join a leading ITES company's Finance & Accounting (F&A) team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in collecting, processing, and interpreting financial data to provide crucial insights into an organization's financial health. You'll identify trends, support decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting efforts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with global financial standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Research & Analysis: Research, review, analyze, and interpret financial statements and broker reports of large corporations from global markets.
- Data Capture & Tagging: Capture specific data points of interest from financial reports (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and tag them accurately through a dedicated application.
- Financial Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with global policies, including US GAAP & IFRS.
- Reconciliation & Validation: Perform transaction-based activities, rule-based decision-making, and verifying for accuracy and completeness. This includes various types of reconciliations (e.g., system-to-system, balancing, open item management).
- Reporting & Quality Control: Prepare outputs such as reports and ensure constant quality checks on the finalization of statements.
- Key Figure Extraction: Capture specific figures from Revenue, Net Income, EPS, Weighted Average Shares, Income before tax, Income Tax, and One-time charges, providing timely, relevant, and accurate information for earnings.
- Forecasting Support: Capture future estimated data as provided in press releases, earnings calls, and company presentation reports for guidance.
- Financial Calculations: Conduct number crunching on specific items of the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Financial Data Analyst.
- Domain Knowledge:Experience with US GAAP and IFRS is essential.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and applications.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and Finance.
- Experience with reconciliation.
- Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Work Environment: Willingness to work in rotational and night shifts.
- Education: Any Graduate (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance preferred).
